Professor Albert Leung is a long-standing Dentist at Maida Vale Dental, providing care for the local community for over 35 years.
His areas of expertise are in restorative patient care and innovations in dental education. His significant clinical and academic experience allows him to bring the best of dentistry to each of his patients.
Professor Leung is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). He is also the Professor of Dental Education, Head of the Continuing Professional Development Department and Programme Director of the Master’s in Restorative Dental Practice at University College London (UCL) Eastman Dental Institute.
Since qualifying from Dundee University in 1985, Professor Leung has gained Fellowships from the Faculty of General Dental Practice, Royal College of Surgeons of England, the Faculty of Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, as well as further qualifications.
He has an extensive postgraduate teaching, examining and curriculum development profile in the UK, Ireland, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Sudan, Qatar and Sweden. His hobbies outside of work include playing the piano and he even has his own piano at the practice.
